Ross farm was a nice place to visit! They had kids day and treated them to a free plant and pot to decorate. Along with coloring pages and drinks & snacks while they worked on their projects. I enjoyed 20% off my plant purchase and walked away with a wagon full of flowers for under 30$! Would highly recommend. My girls & I had a fantastic time. My youngest enjoyed the bouncy house & my oldest enjoyed walking with me around the pond scoping ot the fish!

One of my absolute favorite nurseries and plant shops around Asheville. And they're conveniently located in candler a quarter mile behind Home Depot. They have so much to choose from. Rare plants. Common plants. Seed starts. House plants. Outdoor plants. I love the atmosphere. And I love all the employees. They have great attitudes and are knowledgeable. I don't like going anywhere else. If you've never been you need to go. And if you've been then you need to go again. There's always room for my plants.

What an incredible greenhouse with a surplus of nurseries, perennials, annuals, succulents, indoor plants and more. The price was unbeatable and the staff were very friendly and informative. I stocked up for my flower beds and stayed within budget! Can't wait to return with my friends.

Last year, I attempted my 1st ever, in ground, vegetable garden, using only veteran owned, locally grown, Ross Farm veg starts. Holy geez, was it a SUCCESS!! With the expert advice of Mrs Susie & Darling Nikki, my garden yielded so many delicious cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes & okra! The difference in taste from home grown, organic to grocery was 100% worth the effort. My health benefited too, I lost weight & soaked up precious solar power. All I did was use an auger drill bit to make the holes, water & prune. I used marigolds & lemon grass to keep pests off & I let the bees do their thing. I had so many veggies, I didn’t have to buy from the store & I was able to share with neighbors & family. Their prices are excellent & the quality & variety is unmatched. They also have the coolest planters, pre-filled with all sorts & sizes of green leaf plants, succulents and fun cacti, which make excellent gifts for co-workers, teachers, family & friends. SHOP LOCAL FOLKS, they support our community, so let’s support them too! Ross Farm is my favorite place to visit when I need some retail therapy & farm family love. It’s our very own botanical wonderland, right here in Asheville NC. Thanks Fa

A great plant nursery in a great location. The chairs by the pond and inside in-between plants are great places to just sit and relax. As an advanced hobbyist, i was amazed by the selection of plants they have. Some of the largest variegated plants Ive seen. The Billie in the center is such a show stopper. A lot of the plants are not for sale, unfortunately. There are a lot of outdoor plants and herbs as well. The staff seemed friendly as well. Will definitely come back when Im in town.
